Kenmukan Dojo practices the weapon arts of Iaido (the art of drawing the sword) and Jodo (the way of the Jo).

Dojo Fees


Free lesson: Interested people are invited to make contact and come along for a free lesson to either watch or take part. Simply wear loose clothing such as jogging bottoms and a plain t-shirt.

Weekly payments: Students who are joining under the Temporary Membership scheme to try the arts can pay weekly at £5/week

Monthly payments: Regular students pay £20/month by standing order unless there are exceptional circumstances.

BKA Fees


Temporary BKA Membership: After an initial trial lesson all members must be covered by insurance, in this case, provided by the British Kendo Association. New members can benefit from a 3-month temporary BKA membership for £10.

Full BKA membership:  Once a trial membership has expired you can continue training with a full membership. Concessions etc are available. For full details follow the link.
